Not enough credits in Percify: what it means and the fix

Percify refuses a generation when your balance is below its credit cost, and charges nothing. Shorten the job, pick a cheaper model or add credits.

When Percify says Insufficient Credits or Not enough credits, your credit balance is lower than what that generation costs. Percify checks your balance before the job starts, so nothing is charged and nothing is generated. To go ahead, make the job cheaper or add credits with a one-time credit pack or a plan.

What you see

The message depends on where you are in the app:

Why it happens

Every generation costs credits, and the cost is checked against your balance before the job starts. If the balance is short, the request is refused as a whole. You’re never charged part of the cost and left with a half-made video.

A few things push the cost up:

• Length. Lip-sync and many video models charge per second, so a 10-second clip costs about twice as much as a 5-second one.
• The model. Models cost different amounts. The Playground shows each model’s credit cost before you run it.
• Settings. Some models charge more for higher quality or resolution.

How to fix it

1. Compare the cost with your balance

   The refusal card shows both numbers. On desktop your balance is also in the top bar, next to your profile menu.

2. Make the job smaller

   Shorten the script or audio, choose a shorter duration, or pick a cheaper model or a lower quality setting. Then generate again.

3. Add credits

   Buy a one-time credit pack, or move to a plan that includes more credits each month. Plans and packs are compared on the payments page.

4. Or wait for your renewal

   On a paid plan, your monthly credits are added when the subscription renews and the payment goes through.

FAQ

Was I charged for the refused generation?

No. The balance check happens before anything is deducted, so a refused generation costs nothing.

Do I need a subscription to buy credits?

No. Credit packs are one-time purchases with no subscription attached.

I just paid and still see the message. What now?

Close the card and reload the page so the app fetches your new balance. If the credits still don’t appear after a few minutes, email [e-mail] with the email on your account and the time you paid.
