# Percify content policy, moderation and account safety

> What Percify doesn't allow, consent for faces and voices, how to report content, what happens to accounts that break the rules, and privacy basics.

Percify's [Terms of Service](https://percify.io/terms) don't allow deepfakes meant to deceive, avatars of real people made without their consent, impersonation, or illegal or harmful content. Percify can remove content that breaks these rules and suspend accounts that keep breaking them. You can report content in the app, and Percify's [Privacy Policy](https://percify.io/privacy) says it doesn't sell your personal information.

## What content isn't allowed on Percify?

Section 4 of the Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy, says you may not use Percify to:

* create deepfakes or misleading content intended to deceive
* generate content that violates anyone's rights, including privacy, publicity or intellectual property rights
* create avatars of individuals without their explicit consent
* generate illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory or otherwise objectionable content
* create content depicting minors in any inappropriate manner
* impersonate any person or entity
* engage in fraudulent or manipulative activities
* interfere with or disrupt the service or its servers
* try to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service
* use the service for any illegal purpose

Section 15 adds that you must clearly disclose when content is AI-generated, where the law or a platform's policies require it.

## Can I use someone else's face or voice?

Only with their explicit consent. The Terms forbid avatars of people made without it, and you must have the rights to everything you upload.

The app also asks you directly. When you save an avatar with a cloned voice, you have to tick **This is my voice, or I have permission from the person it belongs to.** The avatar can't be saved until you do.

## How does Percify deal with content that breaks the rules?

Under section 8 of the Terms, Percify can review, monitor and remove content that breaks the Terms or is otherwise objectionable. That covers both your uploads and what you generate. Accounts that break the policies repeatedly can be suspended or terminated.

When an account is suspended, actions such as generating are refused with the message **Your account has been suspended**. If you think your account was suspended by mistake, email [support@percify.io](mailto:support@percify.io) from the account's email address.

## How do I report content?

## How do I keep my account safe?

Section 3 of the Terms asks you to:

* give accurate account information
* keep your sign-in details secure, and not share your account
* tell Percify right away about any unauthorized access, at [support@percify.io](mailto:support@percify.io)

You're responsible for everything that happens under your account. You must also be at least 13, or the age of majority where you live.

## What does Percify do with my data?

Some key points from the [Privacy Policy](https://percify.io/privacy):

* **What's collected:** your name and email, your profile, payment information (processed by Stripe), the photos and audio you upload, what you generate, your prompts and scripts, and device and usage information.
* **Selling data:** Percify doesn't sell your personal information.
* **Sharing:** data is shared with service providers that run parts of the service, including AI providers needed to generate your content.
* **Your rights:** you can ask for access, correction, deletion or a copy of your data by emailing [support@percify.io](mailto:support@percify.io). See [Delete your Percify account](/account/delete-account).
* **Children:** Percify isn't meant for children under 13.
